Welcome to HOPE 26
HOPE 26: Is a Christian charity committed to supporting individuals and households experiencing financial, social, or spiritual hardship. We aim to offer compassionate and practical help to those in need.
What do we do? We support people in our community facing tough times by providing practical help such as food, essential goods, and some financial assistance. We stand alongside them, offering advocacy support, guidance, and spiritual support to help them face challenges and feel fully supported.
Why do we exist? Individuals and families can face unexpected hardship and crisis, leaving them without immediate access to statutory funding or support. At Hope26, we are committed to helping people through these difficult times by providing short-term assistance. We often support individuals while they are waiting to access longer-term, ongoing support.
Where does our support come from? We are funded by donations from individuals and churches.
How We Help
We provide:
 - Signposting: We guide people to other services that can help offer specialist support.
 - Practical Help: We provide practical help with food, essential items, and some financial support.
 - Advocacy: We help and support people as they talk to and work with agencies.
 - Spiritual Support: We offer a listening ear and prayer support whenever people need it.
